Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in managing accounting and financial records, including preparing reports, reconciliations, and audits.
2. Support legal and regulatory compliance efforts by researching applicable laws and drafting documentation.
3. Contribute to labour/HR compliance by maintaining employee records and ensuring adherence to labour laws.
4. Help manage intellectual property portfolios, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
5. Review and update internal policies to align with current regulations and best practices.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address compliance risks.
7. Manage compliance deadlines for various government departments for monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual filings.
8. Provide administrative support for compliance projects and initiatives.
9. Research trends and updates in compliance fields to recommend improvements.

2. Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

3. A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.

4. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

5. Genuine enthusiasm for accounting, finance and compliance.

6. Candidates pursuing or having completed a degree in commerce or pursuing CA/CS exams, or related fields will be preferred.

7. Ability to perform consistently and manage the internship alongside academic workload is a must.

8. Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.

9. Familiarity with any listed technologies or related academic projects is advantageous.

10. Experience with GST, ITR, TDS and ROC filings is desirable.

11. Ability to write effective and high quality prompts for ChatGPT and other similar AI assitants is a plus.

Additional information

Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 200000 to 500000 /year
